This Privacy Policy describes how SpaceMaster ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application.

SpaceMaster is a free, ad-supported utility app designed to help you manage your device storage and maintain your Android device.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

SpaceMaster does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the app.

1.2 Information Automatically Collected

When you use SpaceMaster, we automatically collect the following information:

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers
• App Usage Data: Features used, time spent in the app, interactions with app elements
• Performance Data: App crashes, performance metrics, error logs
• Storage Information: File sizes, file types, storage usage (no file content is accessed)

1.3 Permissions and Data Access

QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES Permission:

• Purpose: To show you a list of installed applications in the App Manager feature
• Usage: Allows you to view and uninstall apps you no longer need
• Data collected: Only package names, app labels, and installation sizes
• What we DO NOT access: App content, app data, or any information inside applications
• Data usage: This information is used solely for display purposes within the app and is never transmitted to our servers

REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES Permission:

• Purpose: To enable app uninstallation from within SpaceMaster
• Usage: Provides a convenient way to remove unwanted apps through system uninstall dialog
• User control: Uninstallation is completely optional. Each uninstall requires your explicit confirmation through the Android system dialog
• Important: We cannot and do not uninstall apps without your direct approval

Storage Access:

• Purpose: To scan for large files, duplicates, and help manage storage
• Usage: We only read file metadata (names, sizes, modification dates, file paths)
• What we DON'T access: File contents, personal documents content, photos content, messages, or any data inside files
• How we access: Through Android's standard file system APIs. We never open or read the actual content of your files
• Data usage: File metadata is processed locally on your device and is never uploaded to external servers

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and maintain app functionality
• Analyze storage usage and identify optimization opportunities
• Display relevant advertisements through AdMob
• Improve app performance and fix bugs
• Analyze app usage patterns to enhance user experience
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Third-Party Services

SpaceMaster integrates the following third-party services that may collect information:

• Google Play Services - App infrastructure and services
• Google AdMob - Advertising platform
• Firebase Analytics - Usage analytics
• Firebase Crashlytics - Crash reporting
• Firebase Performance - Performance monitoring
• Firebase Remote Config - App configuration
• Yandex AppMetrica - Analytics and attribution

4. Advertising

SpaceMaster displays advertisements through Google AdMob to support free app development. AdMob may collect and use your advertising ID, device information, and usage data to show personalized ads.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by:

• Opening device Settings → Google → Ads
• Enabling "Opt out of Ads Personalization"

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Security measures include:

• Encrypted data transmission
• Secure third-party service providers
• Regular security updates
• Limited data collection (only what's necessary)

6. Data Retention

We retain collected information only as long as necessary to provide services and fulfill purposes described in this policy. When you uninstall SpaceMaster, locally stored data is automatically deleted.

Third-party service retention: Analytics and crash data collected by third-party services are retained according to their respective policies. These periods are determined by the service providers themselves:

• Firebase Analytics: Typically 60 days for raw event data, 14 months for aggregated data
• Firebase Crashlytics: Up to 90 days for crash reports
• AdMob: Per Google's advertising data retention policies
• Yandex AppMetrica: According to Yandex's retention policy

7. Children's Privacy

SpaceMaster does not target children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete it.

8. Your Rights (GDPR Compliance)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain rights regarding your data:

• Right to Access: Request a copy of data we have about you
• Right to Deletion: Request deletion of your data

Note: SpaceMaster does not sell your personal information.

• Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs): We rely on EU-approved Standard Contractual Clauses for data transfers to countries outside the EEA

When you use SpaceMaster, in case of an error, we collect Log Data through third-party services. This may include:

SpaceMaster itself does not use cookies. However, third-party services (AdMob, Firebase) may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information and improve services.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy regularly.

Significant changes will be notified through the app or by other means.

17. Consent

By using SpaceMaster, you consent to this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.

If you do not agree: Please discontinue use of the app immediately.

Withdrawing consent: You may withdraw your consent at any time by uninstalling the SpaceMaster app from your device. Upon uninstallation, all locally stored data will be automatically deleted. Please note that data already collected by third-party services will be retained according to their respective retention policies (see Section 6).
